Choosing a counsellor is an important decision. If there is anything further you would like to know, please phone or email me and I will be glad to help.
About Me
I offer one to one counselling using a holistic approach to look at all aspects of your unique, individual situation and requirements. I do not believe that there is one therapy that suits everyone.
I use an integrative approach, which means that I incorporate all three schools of psychotherapy and creatively use various methods appropriate to your needs at every stage of your therapy.
I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling & Psychotherapy.
As part of this commitment I undertake continuous professional development and training.
The BACP Register of Counsellors & Psychotherapists has been accredited by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.
I am also a member of the Hampshire Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (HACP).
In addition to my private practice, I work as a Bereavement Volunteer with Cruse Bereavement Care and as a counsellor with a counselling service in Lymington.
My background is in international business where I worked in customer service and HR. I am a trained Aromatherapist and Reflexologist and so have an understanding of how much our emotions affect our body and health and how ill health can affect our mood.
I am fully insured with Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance.
I am registered with the Information Commissioners office (ICO) which controls data protection legislation and information gathering online.
